Uprising Reggae Festival announces Alborosie, Dub Incorporation, Cornerstone Roots and a special Mungo's Hi-Fi stage! Uprising is a two-day ?reggae and more? festival on the last weekend of August. The place itself is beautiful ? at the lake Zlate piesky (Golden Sands), in the suburb of Bratislava, Slovakia. On the 27th and 28th August Uprising Festival brings You reggae, dancehall, dub, hiphop, dubstep and raggajungle to the lakeside: yet confirmed artists are Alborosie, Dub Incorporation, Cornerstone Roots, Cali P, Ras Charmer & Ginjah, U-Cee, Braintheft, MC Zulu, Soca Twins, Solo Banton & Deadly Hunta, Kokoro, Krak In Dub & MC Troy, MC Soom T & Disrupt, Daddy & Hypa. Together with Dancehall stage, there would be a special Mungo's Hi-Fi stage with their legendary sound system. More names coming soon. The Uprising Festival is in Bratislava, capitol of Slovakia. The festival area is the park and a camp on the lakeside of the Golden Sands (Zlate piesky), 60km highway ride from Vienna, 200km from Budapest, 300km from Prague and Krakow. There are also direct and cheap train and bus lines from these towns. The festival itself has a positive atmosphere, enough place and space for thousands reggae fans. The medieval old city center is not more than 25 minutes by the tram, or a short car ride from the lake area. In the last two years Uprising hosted artists like The Skatalites, Roots Manuva, Mad Professor, Macka B, Zion Train, Irie Revoltés, Fantan Mojah, Macka B, Looptroop, or Million Stylez. The two-day tickets are on sale in advance on the price of ?20, camping at the festival area.
